Birju Maharaj

Birju Maharaj (born February 4, 1938) was a renowned Indian classical dancer and choreographer, celebrated for his contributions to the Kathak dance form. He was a member of the illustrious Kalka-Bindadin Gharana and is recognized for his ability to blend traditional and contemporary elements within his performances. Maharaj's notable works include his choreographies for various classical dance performances and collaborations with renowned artists across different genres, including music and theater.
